What does the law say about the dematerialized personnel register?
Companies must keep a single personnel register as soon as an employee is hired (according to article L. 1221-13 of the Labor Code).
It must be kept for five years from the date the employee or trainee leaves the company (according to article R. 1221-26 of the Labor Code).
Non-compliance with the establishment of an RUP constitutes a fourth-class infraction of up to €750 in fine for natural persons and €3,750 for legal entities (article R. 1227-7 of the Labor Code).
